'We are all responsible for work place equity and better working relations'

The aim of the programme is to provide participants with an understanding of work place equity and the principles surrounding unacceptable behaviour at work, in particular harassment, discrimination and bullying. It also looks at the processes for identifying and dealing with such issues in the work place through skills such as intervention, mediation and conflict resolution.

Outcomes

This programme focuses on the elimination of unacceptable behaviour in the work place by ensuring better working relations among and between management ands staff. At the end of the programme the participants will:

be able to identify the different types of behaviour that is deemed to be unacceptable in the work place.

have an understanding of the different methods used to deal with such behaviour.

develop a strategy and/or a process for dealing with unacceptable behaviour within their work environment.

be able to cooperate more effectively to eliminate unacceptable behaviour and improve working relations.
