This one-day course provides participants with the skills necessary for effectively dealing with change in the workplace. Organisations are frequently downsizing, re-organising, re-shaping or re-launching themselves and managers have to be aware of the stress and anxiety this can cause their team or their staff. This course will help you manage this situation better. During the day we shall be looking at the different ways that change can and does affect employees and what the consequences are for managers, other staff and the organisation itself if this process is not dealt with effectively. Outcomes At the completion of this course the participants will: understand the different stages of the change process and the behaviour that can be associated with each stage be able to identify different reactions to change, the problems that may arise and the strategies for helping people move through the change process have applied the change management principles to a recent situation within the work place. |
