Sexual and racial harassment are serious issues in schools but are often overlooked. This workshop defines what we mean by sexual and racial harassment, what the law says, how we can begin to educate students so that they do not behave in this unlawful way and how to deal with an incident should it arise. Empowering victims and educating alleged harassers are two important issues if harassment is to be dealt with effectively.
